Last Two Weeks of my Second Trimester

Yesterday, I took the time to relax and get over this cold that I got Friday. Even though I still feel sick, I am able to breathe through my nose and go to work. Taking natural remedies to cure my cold has been successful thus far; peppermint tea with honey and ginger, homemade chicken noodle soup that my boyfriend made with love, a lot of water, and a lot of rest. The oil thing that did NOT work for me is rubbing peppermint oil on my chest Saturday before bed. A half hour after I rubbed it on my chest, behind my ears, and under my nose, I vomited. I see now that I went overboard.
Anyways, I am in the last two weeks of my second trimester (weeks 25 and 26)! I can't believe it! I am excited that the day to meet my baby is coming fast. Much preparation is still needed though.
The only things that have been bought for the baby so far are baby clothes. We still need to buy a stroller, crib, bassinet, bottles, diapers, etc. Pretty much everything but clothes, all though we need to buy more clothes. It sounds like we are so unprepared, but the bulk of our shopping will be in May, and I am expecting to get stuff from family and friends at our baby shower in the middle of April. Isn't it more fun to go on a shopping spree than to buy a little here and there? I think so.
Do I feel nervous/anxious/exited/overwhelmed by the fact that my baby will be coming into this world in a little over three months? Nervous? No. Anxious? No. Excited? Absolutely. Overwhelmed? Sometimes, by the fact that I will be a first-time mother. Overall, I know this journey will be a positive one.
