Outing: Zoo, Ice cream, Water Balloon Fight, and More

This past Saturday, Cort, Kae, and I enjoyed a day out in the gorgeous 80 degree weather. Our first stop was the zoo. Kae loves zoos and was excited to see the water animals. We were able to catch the sea lion show right as we walked in. Our next stop was the ice cream truck. Kae was craving ice cream badly, so was I but I pretended not to be, and she got a double cone with half vanilla and half chocolate ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. I enjoyed a screwball, which brought back childhood memories of chasing after the ice cream truck down the street, and Cort got a vanilla ice cream cone with rainbow sprinkles. Kae ate the whole double cone. She loves her sugar.

To take advantage of the very warm spring day, we bought balloons to have a water balloon fight. Even though I was not in the fight because I was video recording, Kae hide behind me every chance she got in order to dodge Cort's water balloons. My legs got all wet. I believe I got wetter than the both on them, even though I was just a spectator. Revenge coming soon!

We were also able to blow bubbles and take Kae to the park down the street from our home. She had such a good time.
